My name is Kimberly Hurley.  I am the Director of the Lutheran School of Lexington. The 2008-2009 school year completes our first school year as a full-time licensed preschool program in the Lexington community. We have been blessed with the growth of our preschool program and look forward to another great year, serving families in 2009-2010. We are currently planning to expand our program to offer Kindergarten for the 2010-2011 year.I am beginning my 16th year in the Early Childhood Education field. I am certified with a Child Care Management degree; an Early Childhood Administrator Certificate ; earned the Kentucky Director’s Credential and am approved by the Cabinet of Health and Family Services to serve as a Director. It is a blessing to be apart of LSL and having the opportunity to work with the families of our community.
I live in Lexington, Ky. with my husband Scott and 2 dogs. I am a huge UK sports fan and love trips to the lake and ocean.
As your Director, I invite you to explore our website, learn more about the Lutheran School of Lexington and offer you to schedule a tour of our classrooms and meet the staff.

My name is Cindi McKay, and I am thrilled to be the Pre-K3 teacher here at the Lutheran School!  I have been working with young children for many years. Teaching preschoolers is my passion. Children truly are a gift from God and to be entrusted with their education is a blessing that I treasure. I graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Development,  and I have worked in a variety of settings, both Christian and secular, as a teacher and director. My husband, David, and I live in Lexington with our four children and two dogs. We are active members at our church, and like to camp, and hike when not attending soccer games or ballet classes and performances.

The Lutheran School of Lexington is a wonderful place to teach and learn.  I enjoy working with the preschool age, but I especially enjoy discovering new things with my two-year old class.  My degree of Elementary Education was completed at Georgetown College in the fall of 2006.
I’m from Cincinnati, Ohio (Go Bengals), but I live in Lexington with my two dogs, Baby and Beau.
At the end of June, I changed my last name to Eversole when I marry my fiancé Daniel.  I look forward to another great school year.
