Lutheran School of Lexington
The Lutheran School of Lexington was developed as an expansion of the existing Lutheran schools in Lexington. It was developed in response to the positive reputation of our existing schools and the needs of the children in the community for quality education in a setting that provides a Christ-centered education; offering a curriculum that will challenge each child to excel.
The association of Lutheran schools can offer the right program to meet each child’s academic and developmental needs. Our three sites that are conveniently located offer a variety of programs and locations.
Our schools maintain small class sizes to ensure that each child receives individual attention from a caring faculty who hold a degree and/or are certified in education. Your child’s self-esteem and well-being are our concern.

QUALITY EDUCATION IN THE LUTHERAN TRADITION

LSL offers programs of academic excellence and intellectual freedom in a distinctively Christian setting encourages your child to thrive and mature.
We maintain frequent parent-teacher-school communications, developing a positive relationship between parents and their child’s school.
The Lutheran School of Lexington will provide a quality Christian education for children 2 year olds through 2nd grade for the 2008-2009 school year; with future expansion of the school each year until we reach the eighth grade.
PRESCHOOL/TRANSITIONAL
KINDERGARTEN PROGRAMS
We provide 2, 3 and 4 year old preschool programs, along with a Transitional Kindergarten. These programs are designed to promote learning and self-discovery in a positive, secure and loving environment. Early readiness skills are introduced with a hands-on approach. The curriculum is enriched with music, art and physical fitness activities. Religious instruction is supplemented with a weekly chapel gathering.
KINDERGARTEN
This is a full time program to develop early readiness skills with a strong emphasis on literature & phonics/language development. An understanding of beginning math concepts is gained through hands-on instruction and activities.
ELEMENTARY & MIDDLE SCHOOL
First - eighth grade elementary school education designed to prepare a child for a successful future. This well-rounded curriculum is presented in an atmosphere where individual attention is the accepted standard.
At the Lutheran School of Lexington, we think of each child as a distinct individual entrusted to our care. Every member of our staff is dedicated to providing each student with a quality Christian education to enable them to live successful, positive and Christ-centered lives.
